This property is FINE but nothing special. Staff was nice, the most basic breakfast options (pasteries from the dollar store, thawed biscuits, etc), simple rooms, and amenities. The concrete on the pool and hot tub are deteriorating a bit and the rooms have an “old” smell that reminds of the renovations that likely are soon needed. I believe the only option in Republic so we stay for the convenience but if the prices don’t soon adjust for the quality of the ptoperty; it’ll be worth it for us to drive from Springfield or Branson.

At check in the clerk didn’t engage and acted inconvenienced and unfriendly, simply tossed my ID and CC on the counter in my direction..overall rude, IMO.

The good - The room was very clean, the pool and hot tub were well kept and nice. The night shift front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The bad - The remote to the TV didn't work so the TV was stuck on one channel. There is really busy train track very close to the hotel so if you're a light sleeper you will be woken up several times throughout the night. One of the vanity lights was out in the bathroom, and the lighting wasn't great to begin with and there was also no vent fan in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was subpar at best compared to most hotel's breakfast.

Trains run right behind property all night long blowing horns!! The mattresses were worn out, hard, caved in and the pillows were all lumpy , like stuffing was all matted up inside them. Mattresses and pillows all need thrown away!!! I was in room 217! Also waited at front desk around 5:45 for at least 20 minutes before someone appeared to check me in. Man behind desk said he couldn’t help me he was just there to do payroll. Wyndham needs to make a visit to this place or take their name off the marquee! A disgrace to their name!!! I am a Wyndham owner myself!!! Unfortunately , only hotel in the town of Republic. When checking out next morning, again know one at from desk to express my dissatisfaction to.

The door would not latch properly, ants in the room, pool and hot tub were dirty. Hot tub was cold and then out of service the second night. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. Toilet was not cleaned. Did not have alternative sweetener until the second day for coffee. Had to ask for numerous items to be replenished by several guest during breakfast.

The property was pet friendly and the staff were polite and courteous. Breakfast didnt have a lot of variety

This hotel is right next to train tracks. The trains run about every 30 minutes so sleeping was not an option.

After notifying staff x2 that there was, at best, warm water when the handle was turned all the way to hot, staff checked the bathroom right beside their office and said “it’s hot to me”. Only rented this hotel for the bathtub and hot shower. Was ignored about the whole situation. No one checked the actual water temp in the room.
